saturday nightS

We are making room. Starting on March 9th-April 20th at 5pm we will be offering a 7-week Saturday Night Celebration.  It will be just like our Sunday celebrations but without Jr. High ministry. To help us pull off this 7-week celebration, please stop by Connecting Point or fill out the form at

bible donations

Those who are incarcerated have few options and many moments of indecision, frustration, and confusion. The Northstar Jail Ministry helps people find and experience Jesus as we take God’s message of hope to people who are in jail. Currently, we are collecting Bibles to share with our friends at the Warren County Jail.  Please contact Steve Freedman at to contribute.

Care Center

If you’re looking to have a lasting impact in the life of another person, mentoring relationships are the key to lifelong success. Looking for a place to plug-in? We currently have these open opportunities to serve through the Care Center:

• A Spark Coach is a positive role model, problem-solver and helps adult participants set goals in the areas of family, work, personal and spiritual life.
• A Pathfinders mentor is a positive role model, that encourages life-long learning, and reminds boys and girls that they have what it takes to stay on a successful path in life.
Both of these opportunities are twelve-month commitments and training is provided. Take the next step by contacting Greg at, or by going to Connecting Point after the service on Sunday.

interfaith hospitality

The Interfaith Hospitality Network supports homeless families who are trying to become reestablished by housing these families at host congregations throughout the city. Northstar will be partnering with St. Columban Church to host IHN guests the week of April 7th on-site at St Columban and there are several ways to get involved. Volunteer opportunities include spending time with guests, preparing a meal, playing with younger guests, and shopping for supplies.  For more information stop by Connecting Point or contact Shelly Karle, the Northstar IHN coordinator,  at

Join us for a summer internship! Northstar summer interns gain practical hands-on ministry experience through service. Invited campaign

Big changes are happening! After 15 years of resourcing families in Loveland, building relationships, seeking to understand the needs of the community, and surveying what long-term strategy makes the most sense, our next step in loving the marginalized here locally is to build a full-fledged Care Center on our current Northstar property. We believe this addition will better equip us to help people take the next step in life. It will empower, not enable. It will help the whole person, not just part. It will build better relationships, not just provide relief and allow us to expand our reach as we invite in those from the community. Learn more about the INVITED campaign, what God is doing at Northstar and how it is going to help our church GO LOVE LIVE in a whole new way!

jail ministry

Those who are incarcerated have few options and many moments of indecision, frustration, and confusion. The Northstar Jail Ministry helps people find and experience Jesus as we take God’s message of hope to people who are in jail. Serve 1-2 Sunday mornings monthly at 9am and be back in time for the 11am service at Northstar. Training and help obtaining the necessary credentials to serve will be provided. For more info about getting involved, stop by Connecting Point or email Steve Freedman at

men’s softball

The “Mighty Men of Northstar” softball team begins their trek to another league championship this spring - and needs you. Games are Tuesday nights in the long-running Mason Church League. To join us, email Tim at

micro churches

Micro Churches are small groups that meet one Sunday morning each month in homes all around the Greater Cincinnati area for a deeper community experience of our normal Sunday celebration. We watch the live video of the Sunday service in a small group setting (10-30 people) while offering creative ways to worship, discuss, and invest in our children. We also meet one other time per month (non-Sunday) to dive deeper into relationships, Bible Study material, and serving opportunities. Sign up here. Questions? Email Cody at

Next level freedom

The Next Level Freedom Class meets on Tuesdays from 7-9pm at Northstar. If you find yourself stuck in relationship patterns that don’t work, or stuck in emotions like anger or depression that are preventing you from enjoying life, or stuck in habits that are controlling your life, Next Level Freedom is the place for you. To get more information contact Greg at or sign up at Connecting Point.

prayer training

Our next class will be on Saturday, March 30th from 9:30-11am. This necessary step is expected for those hoping to be involved on prayer ministry teams. In this training you’ll receive inspiration of what God is doing, instruction on how to partner with Him, and practical experience in walking that out. To sign up, email Rusty at
