Please feel free to come to the picnic at 4pm at Nisbet Park in the amphitheater. Hot dogs and hamburgers provided. Please bring drinks and a side to share. Questions? If you’re looking to have a lasting impact in the life of another person, mentoring relationships are the key to lifelong success. Looking for a place to plug-in? We currently have these open opportunities to serve through the Care Center:
• A Spark Coach is a positive role model, problem-solver and helps adult participants set goals in the areas of family, work, personal and spiritual life.
• A Pathfinders mentor is a positive role model, that encourages life-long learning, and reminds boys and girls that they have what it takes to stay on a successful path in life.
Both of these opportunities are twelve-month commitments and training is provided. Take the next step by contacting Greg at email@example.com, or by going to Connecting Point after the service on Sunday.
We’re creating a space for worship and rest this summer. Join us every Friday at 1pm in the Auditorium for an acoustic worship set—lean into the heart of Jesus, hear what He has to say, and worship who He is. Questions? Email Abbey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Micro Churches are small groups that meet one Sunday morning each month in homes all around the Greater Cincinnati area for a deeper community experience of our normal Sunday celebration. We watch the live video of the Sunday service in a small group setting (10-30 people) while offering creative ways to worship, discuss, and invest in our children. We also meet one other time per month (non-Sunday) to dive deeper into relationships, Bible Study material, and serving opportunities. Sign up here. Questions? Email Cody at email@example.com
Registration for MomLife 2019-202 is open! Mothers of all ages and stages are invited to join MomLife at Northstar. MomLife is a community of moms who meet throughout the school year for honest conversation, deeper relationships and engaging topics that will challenge and equip us as moms. Both morning and evening groups are available and childcare is provided. We encourage you to register soon, as the group reached capacity quickly last year and we had to move to a wait list. Visit www.golovelive.com/momlife to register and for more info.

pause for prayer
Just like last summer, we will be offering everyone a chance to pause and receive prayer from the Northstar leadership. We'll be offering these 30 minute prayer sessions during the week. Send an email to email@example.com to set up a time!
Interfaith Hospitality Network supports homeless families who are trying to become reestablished by housing these families at host congregations throughout the city. Northstar will be partnering for our third year with St. Columban Church to host IHN guests the week of July 21st-July 28th. Volunteer opportunities include spending time with guests, preparing a meal, playing with younger guests, and shopping for supplies. To sign up, contact Shelly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
