laundry project

Having clean clothes is something that is easy to take for granted but for many of our neighbors the cost of going to the laundromat doesn’t fit in the monthly budget. So we are hosting the Laundry Project at the Loveland Laundromat and Cleaners on Saturday, August 18th from 10am-1pm. The Laundry Project assists under-resourced families with meeting a basic need – washing clothes and linens, and turning laundromats into community centers of hope. Laundry fees will be paid for while volunteers assist with laundry services, entertaining children, and creating a caring space at the laundromat. To sign-up or for more information please contact Greg Knake at or stop by Connecting Point.

pathfinders volunteers

All children need an adult to help with homework, listen when they have a problem, and push them to be their best. Pathfinders, a program of the Care Center, pairs fatherless boys and girls in our community with an encouraging mentor.  Mentors are positive role models, that encourage life-long learning, and remind kids that they have what it takes to stay on a successful path in life.  This is a one-year commitment and training is provided.  We are currently in need of both male and female mentors for kids who are waiting to be paired right here in Loveland.  If you’re interested in getting involved please contact Greg Knake at or stop by Connecting Point.

pause for prayer

We are offering everyone a chance to pause and receive prayer from the Northstar leadership. We'll be scheduling 30 minute prayer sessions during the week, Tuesday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm at Northstar. Email us at to reserve a spot or if you have any questions.

School of kingdom ministry

The School of Kingdom Ministry (SoKM) is a training program hosted across the country that trains everyday people how to minister in the power of the Spirit. Northstar offered this program last year and it proved to be a powerful way to train people in how to recognize and flow in the gifts of the Spirit while living a naturally supernatural life. We believe that this will help us develop the ministry of the Spirit in our church and encourage you to consider being involved. For more information, please stop by Connecting Point or go to
